Knitting and reading are two of my very favorite pastimes and I love to share what I am working on with you 🙂
This week, I have a simple dishcloth on the needles. The pattern is the Reversable Textured Dishcloth and it is exactly the kind of mindless textured knit that I needed this week for the post Daylight Savings time fog. It is a one row repeat that creates these lovely little chains of twisted knit stitches on either side that my son is delighted with (you can see him counting the stitches here).
For my current read, I picked up Knitlandia at the library the other day and just got the chance to crack it open last night. The author, Clara Parkes, wrote a number of short essays about knitting and the knitters she has met in her travels with the Knitter’s Review and compiled them in this book. I am only a couple of essays in, but I am enjoying it so far. I am excited to do some more armchair traveling with her, especially since we got another foot and a half of snow dumped on us yesterday 🙂
What are you working on and reading this week? I would love to hear about it! I’m following along with Ginny’s Yarn Along and Frontier Dreams’ Keep Calm and Craft On. Follow along with me!
